  1. My most memorable christmas is from a couple of years ago when out of sillyness i sat on my, then boyfriend now husband's, knee and he pretend to be santa and asked me what i wanted for christmas. I said a baby, only to find out 3 weeks later that we were pregnant with our beautiful baby girl.

  2. Every Christmas is special to me! It is the one time of year my whole family (aunts, uncles, cousins etc) all get together. We do a hayride, water slide, piƱata and Santa makes a surprise visit. For as long as I can remember we have all put our own bauble on Grandma and Papas Christmas tree. They haven't been with us for a few years now but the tradition still continues

  3. Came over from FB.... This is such a gorg set!! Most memorable Chrissy would be the year we had ALL the family at ours when I was 11 - the 8 aunts & uncles, grand parents & 13 cousins.... Just started the 'trad' cricket game (country Victoria) ....& I got an appendicitis attack. Cramped up, sad & lonely, stuck in my bedroom staring mournfully (& in a LOT of pain) out my bedroom window at Them having Fun......got the appendix out about 6 weeks later. Finally & thank goodness!!!!!! Not the best of memories:/

  4. My most memorable Christmas was in 1992 when my first baby was born. He was due on Christmas Eve but came nine days early. I had been married for nearly 13 years, so everybody was surprised that we decided to start a family. My son and I had so many visitors in the hospital that many had to wait in the hall outside my room. A choir visited the hospital, taking requests for Christmas carols. They sang several carols to me, bubs and my visitors and I couldn't stop crying with joy. I came home from hospital in time to spend Christmas with family and friends and to show off my best Christmas present ever .... my little boy.

  5. I remember one Christmas Day when I was a child about ten years old. Now please don't laugh but I will be showing my age here!!! The fashion at the time was nylon panties with three frills sewn across the back, well all the little girls got them from every body, aunts and family friends. By the time I got the last pair I just felt the parcel and gave it to my my mum saying " I don't want it"- very ungrateful I'm sure.

  6. My best Christmas memory was taking last years Santa photo with my children. It was the last year that all my 4 children loved at home and I was so happy that I got an 18 & 17 year old to pose happily with Santa & their younger siblings just for their Mum!

  7. I think my or should I say our favorite Christmas was our holiday to the Gold Coast and Christmas day there. I had to smuggle all Santa's gifts in the suitcases on the plane and up there. We brought a 50cm cone Christmas tree and some tinsel ( we had to bring it home with us and put it out every year to remind us of that time ). We are going away again this year and will take that tree. Merry Christmas everyone.

  8. My Most memorable Christmas was 2006. It was Sophie's first Christmas and we celebrating with Chris's family in the UK. First disaster was having to leave our favourite London Restaurant before our food arrived after Sophie screamed the place down. We later found out she had overheated in her cute, but rather too warm when indoors, reindeer suit. Whoops. We had a high tea at a castle and I fell in love with some angel decorations made of feathers on their tree. I asked the staff where they came from and they said " a nearby garden centre". In the UK garden centres become Christmas shops in the winter months, when people are not gardening, to keep sales alive. Both Chris and myself were sick as with cold/flu, yet I was determined to trek the English countryside in search if the illusive angels. Rather too many garden centres later, we did find a few lonely angels. To this day they are amongst my favourite ornaments. Needless to say we got sicker and sicker and took many weeks to recover once we got home to Perth, but it was still a very memorable Christmas.
